(And our apologies if you’ve worked with decorators who claimed to be trained interior designers! Argh. We promise not to “issue” drawings in napkin sketch form. Haha!)
Our design team is experienced in both new construction and renovation work, and understands how to work within both a timeline and a budget. We are also keenly aware that those executing a build in the field need answers, including drawings and specifications that clearly articulate the design intent. We love working with architects, builders, trades and clients as part of a design build team. There are so many decisions to make about selections for the home, and sending clients into showrooms alone can be overwhelming for them. Plus, they don’t know how to write specs in a way your job supervisors or installers can work from. If your clients are overwhelmed with the selections process, we’re here to help!
When referring us to your client, our goal is to streamline the selections and specification process, so that they are complete, priced and client approved well before any orders need to be placed. In 2021, we understand the impact of COVID on product availability and lead times. We will work with the client to make decisions well in advance of when orders must be placed. And if a change is made, we will make sure that those in the field, or placing the orders, are notified right away.
The A+R team intentionally takes on a limited number of projects at any one time, to ensure our ability to be responsive to project needs, client needs and subcontractor questions. Our organization, efficiency and ability to “play well with others” as part of a team are what set us apart from our competitors.
