Megan Mull

Interior Designer

Megan was exposed to historical renovation construction and design at an early age. Her parents began renovating their 1919 Craftsman home in Lincolnton, NC when she was only eight years old. Her mother had dreamed of becoming an interior designer, and inspired Megan to realize that dream herself. As a child, Megan was often included in the design and renovation of their historic home, and had begun taking design classes by the age of 16. She began with computer drafting classes, and then went on to excel in design courses throughout her college career.

Megan attended Western Carolina for three years before transferring into University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s prestigious, Interior Architecture 5-year professional program. Her focus was historical renovation and restoration with a specialty in digital rendering. She graduated in 2009, and began working in the field immediately after. After working in Charlotte and Lincolnton for many years, she and her husband then relocated to the Asheville area, and began working with A+R.

Megan’s skills and experience are utilized as an interior designer/project manager, focused on renovation and construction projects. She enjoys collaborating with vendors and contractors, as well as selecting furnishings/decor, and preparing custom design solutions for our clients. Whether a design project requires interior space planning, or new furnishings, Megan takes projects from concept to completion.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their baby boy, and their two dogs, Harley and Kuiper. She loves to attend the local Highland games to display her pride in her McLauchlin heritage. Megan also enjoys doing floral work for friends and family, for some fun that’s not focused behind a computer. She loves the creativity that interior design brings to her life, and loves bringing her ideas and solutions to each project.
